Beloved for its beautiful ornaments, the willow tree acts as an excellent medicinal remedy due to its healing abilities. The tree produces a form of salicylic acid which can reduce pain, fever and swelling. Today, the narrow, long branches of the tree are used to decorate romantic arches during weddings and other ceremonies. With the touch of a few strands of twinkle lights, these dazzling branches are immediately brought to life for cherished moments.

“The drapery alone of this tree is magnificent. Inspired be one of my sons’ wedding, I created a delicate collection that portrays how these branches were used to create a magical scenery.” ~ Michael Michaud

The Night Willow pendant is cast in sterling silver with a 24K gold finish and accented with white freshwater pearls.

Chain: 17" - 19" L (adjustable); Pendant: 1.13" L x 1.08" W

About
The Michael Michaud Jewelry Collection, designed by Michael Michaud, is a world renowned collection of botanical jewelry. It captures the beauty and exquisite detail of nature using soft patinas on bronze accented with pearls, beads, coral and stones. His exacting attention to detail gives you true to nature, botanical jewelry.

This unique jewelry is made by creating molds directly from botanical elements in a process similar to lost-wax casting. While traditional lost-wax casting begins with a hand-carved model of wax, Michael Michaud instead uses an actual leaf, branch or flower in place of the wax model. A mold is created around the botanical element and as it is heated the plant matter burns away and leaves behind a beautifully detailed mold of itself.

Michael Michaud Jewelry is renowned for its beauty and workmanship and is featured in the finest museums,  galleries and specialty retailers around the world. Many collections are commissioned by leading museums such as The Victoria & Albert Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, The National Gallery of Art and the Château de Versailles.

Each piece of Michael Michaud Jewelry is handcrafted in New York, U.S.A.
