This handmade Sterling Silver pendant captures a drop of water and sand of one of my favorite places in the world. The brass bezel is made with jewelers brass and the resin is colored in white and light blues shades. The sand is a combination of sand I have collected in my travels.
The piece itself measures 1.75 inches tall by approx. 1.125 inch across. The Sterling Silver chain is 32 inches long.
Every piece is handmade and truly one of a kind, so please allow for small variations, each one is unique. The artist's process includes soldering, mixing, coloring and pouring the resin by hand one at a time. All the pieces are made by hand in Huntersville NC.
When you wear it you may be tempted swim in the ocean, but we always recommend removing your jewelry before showering and avoid getting it wet :)

Muro Jewelry works are the creations of Rosa Murillo, a jeweler, architect, and artist living in Huntersville, NC.
Together with her husband Ruben and a small production crew she creates one of a kind, 3D wearable art pieces made with wood, glass-like resin and metals. Muro's approach is modern and playful, using woodwork and metalsmith techniques in a new exciting way. Muro's goal as artists is to surprise people with the unusual application of materials and techniques.
