Known to be the first fruit that ripens during spring, strawberries are a tell-tale sign that warmer, sunny weather is on the horizon. The sweet fruit is the only one to feature its seeds on the outside, and is actually part of the rose family! From a fresh fruit salad to delicious strawberry shortcake, strawberries are rich in nutrients and are an integral ingredient in many delectable recipes.
The Strawberry Earrings are cast in hand patinated bronze and accented with flame-worked red glass berries and white cast glass flowers with 24kt gold plated centers. The wires are 925 silver with a 24kt gold plating.

About
The Michael Michaud Jewelry Collection, designed by Michael Michaud, is a world renowned collection of botanical jewelry. It captures the beauty and exquisite detail of nature using soft patinas on bronze accented with pearls, beads, coral and stones. His exacting attention to detail gives you true to nature, botanical jewelry.
This unique jewelry is made by creating molds directly from botanical elements in a process similar to lost-wax casting. While traditional lost-wax casting begins with a hand-carved model of wax, Michael Michaud instead uses an actual leaf, branch or flower in place of the wax model. A mold is created around the botanical element and as it is heated the plant matter burns away and leaves behind a beautifully detailed mold of itself.
Michael Michaud Jewelry is renowned for its beauty and workmanship and is featured in the finest museums, galleries and speciality retailers around the world. Many collections are commissioned by leading museums such as The Victoria & Albert Museum, The Art Institute of Chicago, The National Gallery of Art and the Château de Versailles.
Each piece of Michael Michaud Jewelry is handcrafted in New York, U.S.A.
